You can use bitmaps from this directory as brush patterns by assigning
  any of them to the BrushPattern property of VBX Artist control.
  All these bitmaps are 8x8 color bitmaps.

  You see, this collection of patterns isn't a large one. If you want more
 patterns, construct them yourself using FineDraw or any other painting
 program. Or you can use FineDraw as a screen grabber to pick up any existing
 pattern you have ever seen on your display.
